This full-year online Pre-Algebra course is aligned to both Grades 7 and 8 Common Core Mathematics Standards. Students are introduced to algebraic concepts through both theory and applications. Modeling and real-world problems are introduced throughout the course. Interesting challenging problems are also discussed during the course. This course focuses on the study of algebraic manipulation, graphical interpretations, deepens the knowledge of number theory and introduces beginning topics of geometry. This course prepares the students for Algebra 1.
