Topics covered in this level are aligned with Common Core Standards covered in Grade 2 and Grade 3. The course begins by introducing the addition and subtraction concepts, and in the second semester transitions into multiplication, division, and fractions. Addition with regrouping and Subtraction with borrowing are introduced. Along with these core concepts, we cover additional topics including geometry and 2-D shapes, computing Perimeter and Area of shapes, Measurements, Roman Numerals, Time and Elapsed Time. Additionally, the program is enriched with word problems aimed at developing critical thinking and logic. are emphasized throughout the course. By the time students complete the course they will be fully prepared to succeed in Grade 3 Mathematics.
